Offered for sale by the original owner’s wife. Original owner was an executive of Mitsubishi and purchased this unit new while an employee in 1993. Shortly after receipt of this car from the dealership all engine & drive train lubes were changed. Castrol Syntec full synthetic 10W-30 and that is all this engine and it’s turbos has seen since new. All drive train lubes were changed at the same time to Redline full synthetic respective lubes and that is all the drive train has seen since new. This car has been stored in a HVAC controlled garage and has never seen a snowflake. Other then the original lube changes and expected maintenance this car is unmodified. Each could be had with similar performance statistics, leather interiors, power amenities from seats to windows, outstanding designs, superb drivability and unprecedented levels of comfort. To boot, the Japanese cars offered innate reliability and easy ownership characteristics, making them even more attractive. If that wasn’t enough, there were the attractive price points, usually in the mid-$30,000 range for the top-of-the-line examples, such as this 3000GT VR-4. Presented in Zurich White Pearl with a black interior, the VR-4 was the ultimate offering from Mitsubishi in the early-to-mid 1990s. Introduced in 1991, it rocked the world with 0-60 MPH times in the sub-5-second range, a top speed of about 160 MPH and quarter-mile times in the 13-second ballpark. An engineering marvel, VR-4 features all-wheel-drive, a twin-turbocharged 3.0L 24-valve DOHC V-6 engine, 5-speed transmission and an arsenal of electronic magic never before seen in a sports car of this pricing. These Japanese supercars largely changed the landscape for performance cars in general and created a whole new generation of car enthusiasts. Finding an original, unmodified version of this car with all related records, information and carefully treated by it’s owner is near impossible.

This is a 1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL with 124,000 miles. This has the 6G72 DOHC motor non-turbo. This car has a 5 speed manual transmission with new clutch installed at 114,000 by dealership. Motor and transmission are strong. Body and interior are in good shape for age, but does have normal wear and tear. There will be minor scratches and dents. This car has a sun/moon roof. Tan leather seats. Everything is original in this car aside from the shift knob. This is a hatchback. Electric door locks and windows. Dual exhaust. Cruise control. AC works great. I've had this for around a year. Not as interested in it as I thought I'd be. I had it in the garage all winter. I terior is in good shape but shows its age.. The piece that holds the shift boot in is cracked, but I do have a shift boot and original shifter. 12v cigarette plug is gone. Tear in the driver's seat. Exterior the clear coat is peeling in several places as pictured. There's bolts in the trunk lid where someone used to have a spoiler I'm guessing. Will need a new battery. I charged the current one and it will last for about a day or so but if it sits too long it won't start, so bring a battery. Also the tires are at the end of their life. If you have far to go I'd suggest a trailer as the front tires are on borrowed time. The one pictured has belting coming through and a minor bulge. I replaced the struts with non ecs but i stillshave everything needed to put ecs ones on. This car just needs alot of minor things. Any more questions please feel free to ask.

I have a beautiful, pampered 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL Model with 79,775 miles on it in excellent condition, It is Original Glacier White Pearl paint that shines like new, with a black and tan interior that is also in excellent condition. Factory carpet, car is in near perfect condition, NYS Inspected, original manual, everything works. Its an original Florida vehicle, 24 valve DOHC 6 cylinder engine that runs smooth, transmission shifts easily, and engine is not modified in any way. Has after-market chrome rims, new battery and new Goodyear tires. This is a non-smoking vehicle, has never once been smoked in since brand new. The A/C blows ice cold. It would take very little effort to put it in "show car condition", always been adult driven. Car is posted on local sites and could sell at any time.
